Lucky Vitamin -Natural Store Review

Having been in the habit of wanting to "see" the products we were buying, and having had terrible experiences with The Vitamin Shoppe, my husband was "surfing" one day and found Lucky Vitamin, an online "health food" store.
Since that time (3 years ago), Lucky Vitamin has grown exponentially, carrying a wide variety of different products for personal care, vitamins and minerals, teas, some gluten-free products, herbs, aromatherapy, teas and, generally, everything one would normally find in a medium mainstream health food store. Orders over $100.00 are shipped free. $5.95 is the flat rate, USPS or UPS Standard. Exceptions are stated in products which are affected by weight, etc.
Personally, I have never had a problem. Their products are most certainly less expensive than my local health food store (where the people are unknowledgeable and, quite frankly, downright rude), and I have found them to be less than direct ordering from the companies or The Vitamin Shoppe.
My orders have arrived well packaged, items needing refrigeration (Barleans, etc.) come w/small freezer packs. Liquids are taped and sealed. Backorders are usually very quickly received after a regular order arrives. The website is highly organized; ingredients are even listed, which has been quite helpful.
However, I have read several online reviews in which customer service was highly criticized for rudeness. I have never had this happen: when I have contacted them, they have gone out of their way to check products or answer questions. One other critique is that they DO carry products which, while ostensibly "health food store" items, still contain parabens (Zia, Beauty Without Cruelty, Rachel Perry, Thayer's Witch Hazel). I would recommend checking out Lucky Vitamin. Hopefully, your experience will be as positive as mine has been.
