Mineral Makeup Reviews - Various Different Products
by Obsessive Fixations
So far I think Aromaleigh and Everyday Minerals have the best pigmented, long-wearing eyeshadows. Lauress' foundation went on very heavily and looked chalky on my skin. It also comes in excessive packaging. Is it really necessary to hermetically seal sample containers with cardboard and plastic just to mail them? -------------------------------------------------------- Editor's note: Thank you Obsessive Fixations for taking the time to add your reviews of these products. Many mineral makeups are based on very few, pure ingredients. LaurEss is no different. Below is an ingredient list from one of their foundations: Ingredients: Zinc Oxide Mica Titanium Dioxide Iron Oxides Ultramarines Lauroyl Lysine This is the first mineral makeup that I have seen use Lauroyl Lysine. It is an amino acid derivative and is used in products to improve the quality of the application. It is not in any of the makeup I have tried so I wonder how it might change application. Excessive packaging is a waste.
