purminerals pressed foundation
I started using Pur Mineral makeup about 4 months ago and LOVE IT! I hated how "normal" foundation actually emphasized my growing crows feet :) Plus, I was always getting pimples and it was driving me mad!
Now, I feel younger, prettier, and I don't get pesky pimples anymore. Yay!
EDITOR'S NOTES:
Thanks Susanna.
Pur Mineral products are not loose minerals but come in pressed compact form. According to the Pur Mineral website it works as foundation, concealer, powder and acts as a sun screen with SPF 15. It does contain bismuth oxychloride a natural ingredient that some women find irritating.
Here are the ingredients for PurMinerals Pressed Foundation:
Active Ingredient: Titanium Dioxide 8%; Inactive Ingredients:Mica, Boron Nitride, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Bismuth Oxychloride, Zinc Stearate, Magnesium Silicate, Magnesium Carbonate, Silica, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Tocopheryl Acetate, Iron Oxides
While I have not tried PurMinerals I am a fan of minerals in compact form. I have found that the coverage is great, very natural looking and the addition of moisturizing ingredients in this case shea butter nourish the skin and makes the makeup go on smoothly and does not settle in fine lines.
All mineral makeup provides some sun protection but mineral foundations in compact form often can claim an SPF factor which means better protection. This product provides SPF 15. Using a product like this makes it easier to protect your skin during the day just by touching up your makeup.
This company carries products other than mineral makeup. They have a complete line of cosmetics and skin care that are cruelty free.
They also have a good return policy. This is important since they only sell full sized products and do not offer samples. Many companies will only let you return unused product Purminerals allows returns of unused portions of their product within 30 days if you are unhappy with the results. Takes the pressure out of ordering makeup site unseen doesn't it.
