Earth Diva Mineral Makeup

I recently purchased Earth Diva mineral makeup. I really like it so far and the prices are very reasonable. I have tried the foundation, blush and a couple of the eye shadows. I have very sensitive skin and it looks and feels great. They also carry vegan, cruelty-free brushes. The kabuki brush is really nice...

I have tried other brands of minerals and so far I like Earth Diva the best. I definitely recommend their makeup. Care to check them out?

Earth Diva offers all natural and certified vegan ingredients and no bismuth oxychloride which while a natural ingredient is an irritant for many women. They are a signer of Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. Twenty shades are available for all skin tones.

Below are the ingredients for Earth Diva Mineral Foundation:

Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine blue. May Contain: zinc oxide

They take Paypal which for me is a plus and offer free shipping on purchases over $30. Another benefit as most companies require a larger purchase.

Body Shop Mineral Makeup

I found the Body Shop mineral foundation gave quite good coverage, but on drier patches of skin was unflatteringly noticeable. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it out.

Editor's Note:

I am wondering if this reviewer only had this problem with this particular brand of mineral makeup. I have found that dry patches are harder to deal with with most any makeup. My makeup goes on so much smoother when I exfoliate, moisturize and make sure to allow the moisturizer time to dry.

This particular product from The Body Shop called Nature's Mineral Foundation contains all natural ingredients. The two here that I haven't seen used in other mineral makeups that have been reviewed so far are the minerals Kaolin and Illite. Both of these are clays that should help absorb oils and help bind the makeup to the skin.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Titanium Dioxide (24.4%). INGREDIENTS: Kaolin, Illite. May Contain: Mica, Iron Oxides

I have always admired Anita Rodrick the founder of the Body Shop who led the way in sourcing fair trade ingredients and in creating products that are cruelty free. This company has been bought out by Loreal and as far as I can tell these original values have been maintained.
