I've been using Southern Magnolia mineral make-up for about 5 years now. I originally found them on E-Bay, but they also have their own website. They have a wide range of colors and formulas for different skin tones and types, plus they also sell bulk sizes, brushes, cosmetic bags, mixing "swirly" bowls, and skin care products.

I am 42 but have oily skin so I need something to stop the shine I get mid-day, and their "Shine Stopper" does just that. Their "Sun Kiss" bronzer makes an ideal blush - very natural looking. The coverage is sheer and natural, but definitely covers what you want hidden. After using their products I have never gone back to liquid foundation again.

The customer service is great - my order always arrives quickly & includes free samples of other products (eye shadow, etc...) to try.

Thanks Jenna. Took a look at Southern Magnolia's site. I mainly look for ingredients, certifications and info on animal testing. Ingredients looked good on their dry mineral products as you can see below:

Ingredients for Second Skin All-Natural Mineral Foundation from Southern Magnolia Minerals:

Ingredients: Magnesium Myristrate, Titanium Dioxide, Silicia Spheres, Boron Nitride, Sericite, Iron Oxide.


Overall ingredients in other products look good. For safety always read the ingredient list of any product you are looking to buy. The company is a signer of the Compact for Safe Cosmetics and they do not do any animal testing.

I noticed that they provide additional info that was helpful. I found good info for applying mineral makeup along with tips for combining mineral makeup and moisturizer to create your own cream foundation.
